Hello, my name is Colleen Lopez, and I am a Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Tapping Practitioner based in the Sacramento, California area. I have over 20 years of experience in correctional mental health nursing, where I specialized in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and behavioral health education. My background also includes experience as a first responder and group therapy facilitator, teaching coping skills, stress-reduction strategies, medication management, and emotional regulation techniques.
My journey into EFT began on a very personal level. After developing Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) from multiple work-related injuries, I turned to Clinical EFT. Through working with a clinical provider, my symptoms decreased by 85–90%, including significant relief from hypervigilance and other debilitating PTSD symptoms. I was astonished by how quickly and effectively EFT helped restore my sense of well-being, and this experience inspired me to dedicate my professional life to teaching this powerful method.
One of the reasons I am passionate about EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Tapping is that it is an evidence-based practice supported by extensive clinical research worldwide. Unlike many traditional interventions, EFT can often provide significant symptom relief faster than other methods.
In our private sessions, you will learn how EFT Tapping works and why it is so effective for reducing distressing symptoms. EFT involves gently tapping on specific acupuncture points on the body while processing the issue or memory causing you stress.
