About
Colleen Lopez
Hello, my name is Colleen Lopez, and I am a Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Tapping Practitioner based in the Sacramento, California area. I have over 20 years of experience in correctional mental health nursing, where I specialized in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and behavioral health education. My background also includes experience as a first responder and group therapy facilitator, teaching coping skills, stress-reduction strategies, medication management, and emotional regulation techniques.
My journey into EFT began on a very personal level. After developing Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) from multiple work-related injuries, I turned to Clinical EFT. Through working with a clinical provider, my debilitating symptoms decreased by about 90%. I was astonished by how quickly and effectively EFT helped restore my sense of well-being, and this experience inspired me to dedicate my professional life to teaching this powerful method.
Today, I combine my clinical expertise and natural ability to teach skill-building with the proven techniques of Clinical EFT Tapping. My goal is to help individuals, particularly those with repeated trauma exposure, develop practical, hands-on tools to improve their quality of life. EFT can help reduce symptoms of PTSD, such as night terrors, hypervigilance, and chronic stress or anxiety, while strengthening coping mechanisms tailored to your unique situation.
If you or someone you know has experienced repeated exposure to trauma, such as witnessing violence, injuries, or repeated exposure to death, I encourage you to explore how EFT Tapping can help you move toward emotional balance, resilience, and healing.
